Murambi is small town situated in Rulindo district in the northern province of Rwanda , the town is home to the Murambi genocide memorial center , a site where hundreds of Tutsis were massacred in the church during the 1994 genocide that claimed thousands of Rwandese lives. The memorial site was established in 1995 and now contains up to 50,000 graves and the school next to the center has a museum showing skeletons and skulls of the genocide victims.
